Who was your most inspirational teacher and why? Mr. Sheridan, my AP Euro teacher. He’s always been a kind and supportive person. He’s always down to talk about music and concerts, all while still preparing us academically. Mr. Sheridan perfectly balances being a teacher and friend. He’s always there for people, and it makes you want to do the same.
What college are you attending and why did you pick that school? Duke Univiersity. I visited and really liked the campus. Their School of Public Policy just seemed like a great fit for me.
What are your plans after college? First I want to live a life of seclusion in the forest for about five years. Just kidding. I plan on graduating with a bachelor’s degree. I might pursue law school. There a lot of causes that I want to fight for, and it seems like public policy is the path that best suits me. I plan on getting involved in the legislative process, either on the state or federal level.
