WHAT THE MUSICAL IS ABOUT: While Sarah Brown and her fellow missionaries are urging people to repent and turn back on sin and vice, the heat is on as Nathan Detroit looks for a place to host his floating crap game – and keep his 14-year fiancé Adelaide from finding out he’s still running the game. Adelaide laments that her chronic cold is a psychosomatic reaction to the never-ending engagement. Attempting to secure deposit money for his game, Nathan bets high-rolling gambler Sky Masterson that Sky can’t get Sarah to go on a date with him to Havana. Does the game ever get played, and do the two unlikely couples eventually end up together?
