Kansas City native and former Sporting Kansas City starter Kevin Ellis informed the Kansas City Comets over the weekend that he is leaving the Major Arena Soccer League team. MIAMI – Former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores thinks race placed a factor in the team’s decision to fire him in January. Speaking on the “I Am Athlete” podcast co-hosted by former NFL wide receivers Chad Johnson and Brandon Marshall, and Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Flores alleged he was given tasks that he doesn’t think would have been required of a white head coach. Flores went 25-24 in three seasons with Miami before being let go on Jan. 10.

NEW YORK – The NFL is collaborating with the XFL for player safety and health data. The XFL, which plans to relaunch in 2023, will be working with the NFL on physical and mental fitness programs for players, the study of playing surfaces and equipment, and the sharing of game trends and data.
Total elimination of feral hogs in Missouri is the end goal for conservation officials, and they are seeing some strides being made. The Missouri Feral Hog Elimination Partnership killed 9,857 feral hogs in 2021, bringing the total number of hogs killed since 2016 to more than 54,000.
