As you know, we rescued two kittens who were born under our deck about two years ago – and what a treat it’s been seeing them grow into gorgeous somewhat recalcitrant teenagers. Now I know you dog lovers out there are probably poo-pooing the whole idea of owning felines, but let me tell you, they keep you own your toes just as well.

Prosecutor to seek death penalty in Missouri murder case

CAPE GIRARDEAU – A southeastern Missouri prosecutor has announced he plans to seek the death penalty for a man charged with killing another man last year by ramming him with his truck. Stoddard County Attorney Russ Oliver on Monday filed his intent to seek death for Boyd Lippoldt, television station KFVS reported.

Life sometimes has a habit of teaching you lessons in weird ways. For the first time in my life, I recently ran out of gas while driving. On this particular day, my low fuel light came on shortly after leaving home for the office. For whatever reason however, I forgot to stop on the way in, and after running errands over my lunch hour, the car died literally feet from my office parking lot.
