Missouri COVID hospitalizations set record

Missouri set pandemic peaks for COVID-19 hospitalizations and daily net new admissions this week. The Department of Health and Senior Services reported there were 2,933 inpatients, a number that grew an average of 91 per day over the previous seven days.

All Missourians ages 5 and older (Pfizer vaccine) or 18 and older (Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines) are eligible to receive COVID vaccines without charge. If you are seeking a third dose of Pfizer or Moderna, you should first talk with your health-care provider.

Mixed signals abound after long separation

1 ⁄4 whole grain French baguette, sliced into 4 slices Olive oil spray 2 ounces garlic-herbed goat cheese, room temperature Preheat broiler or toaster oven. Cut bread on diagonal into 1 ⁄2-inch slices.
