Library system hires new director

The Mid-Continent Public Library has found its new director. Aaron Mason, director of community engagement for the Cleveland Public Library, was selected from four finalists as Mid Continent’s new director/CEO. The library’s Board of Trustees approved his contract Tuesday.

I’ve never embraced the vast universe of video gaming, though I respect the fact that it’s a place – virtual, real, real enough, you tell me – where many people find challenge, satisfaction and comfort. As for me, I’ll take an actual game of cards or pool.
