Kirk Edward Brewer, 54, of Blue Springs, Mo. passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022. Kirk was born to Virgil and Ione Brewer in Independence, Mo. on December 2, 1967. Kirk graduated from Truman High School, Independence School District in 1986. During his school years he belonged to Boy Scout Troop 224 at Enoch Hill RLDS Church and attended scout camp each year with his father. Scouting was a major part of his life and meant a great deal during his teenage years. After high school he went on to take classes from the University of Phoenix. Kirk worked for AT&T and Lab Corp for a number of years. He married Aletha Louise Sedig in 1989. Kirk is survived by his wife, Aletha, their two sons Ian and Galen, along with a number of siblings and friends. A graveside service will be at a later date.
