We are deeply saddened to announce Barbara Slankard of Independence, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at the age of 77.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the George Owens Nature Park Lodge located at 1601 S. Speck Road, Independence, MO 64057, where we can honor Barbara and show our gratitude for having her in our lives. Please feel free to bring pictures of Barbara and stories of times spent together.
