Rumors and lies envelop divorcee living abroad

DEAR ABBY: I retired to Malaga, Spain, after my marriage of 38 years ended in divorce. I have gone to dinner with a few men since moving here. This is a lovely community with many retired residents from all over Europe and the U.K. My problem is, after a few dates, they assume that because they bought me dinner it entitles them to sex. I am fit and fairly attractive, but I may be out of touch on dating.

Three cats in need of forever homes

Cats are fun and odd creatures. They have specific personalities depending on their life experiences. Some cats can act like dogs by greeting you at the door and sleeping at your feet or even hogging your bed. My experience has been that cats don’t seem to pick up on their guardian’s personality like dogs do. Although they can adapt to their adoptive family, cats still have their own sense of self and express that through their habits and actions.

With online and retail sports betting now legal in more than 30 states, the portrait of a new problem gambler is emerging: the high school student. Although the legal age for gambling ranges from 18 to 21 depending on the state, between 60% and 80% of high school students report having gambled for money in the past year, according to the National Council on Problem Gambling.
