Auditions near for a musical satire

The City Theatre of Independence is holding auditions for its September 2022 production of the Tonywinning musical satire “Urinetown.” It tells the story of a large city living through a water shortage so severe that the government has banned private toilets. Citizens are required to use public restrooms, regulated by a malevolent company that charges admission for the most basic human needs.
