Residents graduate from Ohio University Two local students graduated from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio at the end of the 2021 fall semester: Sergio Avalos of Blue Springs received his master’s degree in coaching education, with a specialty in soccer. Sandra Fairbanks of Independence received her master’s degree in social work.
