How can we ever thank our service men and women enough for being courageous, strong and brave so we don’t have to be? How often do we actually reflect on the lives lost so we can continue to have our freedoms? Hopefully it’s not just on this one special day. Our lives are flooded with so many other things besides the fact we have been a nation at war.
Veterans Day events at Truman Library, WWI Museum
The Truman Presidential Library in Independence will host a Veterans Day celebration Monday, and the National WWI Museum and Memorial will have several events through this weekend and Monday.
