Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey is threatening to sue Jackson County over its new ordinance limiting the possession of guns by those under 21.

Train traffic and blocked crossings continue to be a nuisance in Grain Valley, but the city is working toward some remedy, Mayor Mike Todd says. The city will work with Canadian Pacific Kansas City railroad and the Missouri Department of Transportation to place advance warning signals on the city’s main north-south roadway, Bucker-Tarsney Road.
