Donna K. Morrow, 69, a resident of Fair Play, Miss ouri, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 25, 2022. Kay was originally from Independence, Missouri before moving to Fair Play. Kay will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Kay is survived by her husband Steve Morrow, her two sons Shane Morrow and his wife Steffany and Brandon Morrow and his wife Jennifer, and four grandchildren. On November 27, Marilyn Fancher Jones breathed her last breath at 3:03 p.m.; at 3:05, her soul left this earth. Marilyn is survived by a loving family that has drawn together in this time of grief. Marilyn was born in Metcalfe County in a log home to Angelo and Mary Fancher on April 22, 1937. She is survived by her daughter, Angie Clarke (Chad Shauffler) of Independence, Mo.; three sons, Daniel Shay Jones (Anita) of Independence, Anthony Shawn Jones (Karla) of Independence, William F. Jones Jr.(Tammy) of Smithville, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Britten and Cade Clarke, Shay Jones (Brittany), Mary Beth Jones, Tiffany Wallace (Shawn) of Louisville, Ky., Field Jones (Jackie) of Florida, Paige Mack (Pat) of Omaha, Neb., Logan Jones (Darla) of Smithville, and Cody Quinn of Edmonton, Ky.; 10 great-grandchildren, Deacon Wallace, Camden, Grayson, Layla, and Cove Jones, Lincoln Mack, Preston, Bobby Fiona, and Aleena Jones; one sister, Glyna Lile; one brother, Mike Fancher, both of Metcalfe County. Marilyn loved her gardens, family and lived in many places but settled in Independence. Marilyn was a music educator and production manager of a packaging plant. She also ran a Day Care for many years. She was a caring mom, a devoted wife, and was loved by her community. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022, with burial to follow in the Cosby Cemetery.
