Charles Adam Fischer went home to be with the Lord on April 22, 2022 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Adam was born in Galena, MO on September 22, 1933 to Adam Fischer and Edna Barnes.

Jana Lombardo of Independence, Mo. died May 31, 2022. Jana loved life and the people in it. If you knew her, you were her friend. Jana is survived by her wife, Nene McDowell; fur babies, Dexter, Beans, Voodoo and Edy; her mother, Noel Lombardo; her brother, Michael Lombardo and spouse Cindy; sister, Jeanne Fail and spouse Mark, sister Jamie Lombardo; nieces and nephews, Stina Lyday and spouse Joey, Kate Westcott and spouse Luke, Andi Minks and spouse Eddie, Jacob Fail, Toni Lombardo and spouse Justin, Taz Lombardo and spouse Audrey, Carly Hall; greats, Ivy, Frankie, Ember, Atticus, Mick; more friends than most people know; and the best neighbors in Independence: Bob and Andrea, Wes and Patti, Rodney Peggy and Ashley, Frances, Chuck and Larry.

Kirk Edward Brewer, 54, of Blue Springs, Mo. passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022. Kirk was born to Virgil and Ione Brewer in Independence, Mo. on December 2, 1967. Kirk graduated from Truman High School, Independence School District in 1986. During his school years he belonged to Boy Scout Troop 224 at Enoch Hill RLDS Church and attended scout camp each year with his father. Scouting was a major part of his life and meant a great deal during his teenage years. After high school he went on to take classes from the University of Phoenix. Kirk worked for AT&T and Lab Corp for a number of years. He married Aletha Louise Sedig in 1989. Kirk is survived by his wife, Aletha, their two sons Ian and Galen, along with a number of siblings and friends. A graveside service will be at a later date.
