He proudly served 2 terms in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1966-1970. He enjoyed his work as well as being an avid reader of history and biography, traveling, and attending grandchildren’s activities. He was a longtime member of The Gathering Baptist Church, formerly Noland Road Baptist Church, Birchwood Baptist Church, and Rockwood Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 61 years, Dorothy of the home; a daughter, Kelly Morgan and her husband Jim of Lee’s Summit, MO; a son, Chris Cornine and his wife Andrea of Lee’s Summit, MO; 2 brothers, Gale Cornine and his wife Alice of Nelson, MO and Ron Cornine and his wife Debbie of Gravois Mills, MO; 6 grandchildren, Amanda (Tyler), Alyssa, Zachary, Dominic, Reece and Riley and one great grandchild, Wren.
