J.W. Gipson, 97 of Independence, MO., formerly of Macon, MO. passed away peacefully on Thursday the 7th of April, 2022. J.W. was born in Callao, MO to Ola Mae Gipson and James “Jimmie” Granvil Gipson on February 2, 1925 and was the only brother to Dora Bloomberg and Fern Haskin.

Larry Byron Esterle passed peacefully at home on April 4th, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones. Larry was born on February 8, 1957 and grew up in Wadsworth, OH where he played varsity football, baseball, and basketball and was a teacher’s aide at Wadsworth High School. Shortly after graduating, Larry moved to Colorado, before eventually settling in Kansas City, MO. Larry enjoyed hunting, listening to music, being with family, and spending time at the cabin he built near the Lake of the Ozarks. Larry was a legend in the ceiling industry and worked for Meade & Sons and K.D. Christian Construction Co. for over 40 years. Larry is survived by wife, Carmen Murphy and sister-in-law, Kathaline Roberts; a son, Mason Murphy and his wife Damaris Murphy of North Kansas City, MO; a daughter, Leah Marrs and her husband Ryan Marrs of Independence, MO; seven grandkids, Carmen Branch and Philip Branch who lived with him, and Beverly, Katherin, Dylan, Larry, and Mason; his mother, Carol Stone of Richland, MI; a sister, Tracy Thompson and her husband Jim Thompson of Richland, MI; and a niece, Emma Thompson of Richland, MI.
Larry Raymond Hoy, 80, Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 1, 2022, at North Kansas City Hospital. Larry was the first baby to be born in Jackson County on January 1, 1942.
