Virgil F. Lang, a devoted husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. He was 83. Virgil was one of 12 children born to Mike and Emma Lang in Hays, Kansas on May 28, 1938.

Hettie Ann Bailey

Hettie Ann Bailey was a preacher’s daughter, born to Eva Gray Duncan and William Arlester Duncan in Russellville, Kentucky on September 30, 1937. She attended Knob City High School in Russellville and was graduated in 1956. She married Delmus Bailey on December 9, 1956, and for the next twenty years embarked on a whirlwind adventure that included living in Ft. Huachuca, Arizona; Ft. Lewis, Washington; Berlin, Germany; Sacramento, California; Baumholder, Germany; Ft. Knox, Kentucky and finally, the Kansas City, Missouri metropolitan area.

Brent Burgess

Brent Burgess of Independence, MO, passed away, peacefully, after a courageous, two month battle against Covid 19 at Select Services Hospital in Springfield, MO, February 24, 2022 at age 56. He was fun loving, likable and will be missed by many. He was born August 20, 1965 to Tom and Sharon (Ferguson) Burgess in Independence, MO. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Milton and Sharon Hessefort, son, Connor E Burgess and daughter Kaitlyn Garrett, brother, Kent Hessefort (Suzanne) and sisters, Amanda Peterson (Casey), Leigh Ann Lewis, Cyndi Fromholtz (Joe), Kristy Harper(Dan). He was preceded in death by his father, paternal and maternal grandparents Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be at a later date. Donations to Kansas City Pet Project.
