Landon McCallum re-signs with Firebirds after spending rookie season with Mavericks

A forward who signed with the American Hockey League’s Coachella Valley Firebirds but spent all of his rookie professional season with the ECHL’s Kansas City Mavericks last year is back. Landon McCallum, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound native of Delhi, Ontario, re-signed with Coachella Valley, the Mavericks’ AHL affiliate announced Thursday.
