The Blue Springs South boys golf team followed a win in last week’s quad match with an eighthplace showing in the Jefferson City Helias Catholic Invitational Monday. Ryan Wall shot an 83 as the Jaguars totaled 354 to finish eighth as a team.
The Blue Springs South baseball team continues to get strong pitching. Trenton Roehler turned in another strong performance Monday, throwing a four-hit shutout to lead the Jaguars to a 2-0 Suburban Big Eight home victory over the Park Hill Trojans.
A season filled with inconsistency and disappointment ended on a positive note for the Kansas City Mavericks.
