Van Horn Class of ‘71 supports scholarships
The Van Horn High School class of 1971 celebrated its golden anniversary reunion Oct. 8-9 with an informal gathering at Moose Lodge 2414, a tour of Van Horn, and a formal reunion event at the Independence Uptown Market.

THE HAGUE, Netherlands – The European Union drug regulator gave its backing Tuesday to mixing different types of vaccines in initial vaccination and booster campaigns to battle the disease caused by the coronavirus.

One wounded in shooting close to Independence school
One person was critically wounded Monday morning in a shooting near Glendale Elementary in Independence as students arrived for classes. The shooting stemmed from a traffic accident several blocks away.
