The Blue Springs South girls tennis team didn’t have a good start in the Sedalia Smith-Cotton Invitational. But the Jaguars had a good finish.
Truman had the medalist, but Fort Osage captured the team title in the Independence City Championships girls golf match Tuesday.
Fall is our favorite time to take a drive. Cooler temperatures mean our chocolate Labrador retriever, Rocketman, can go too and he thinks that is just wonderful. During our forays we look for many different things, including bird formations while observing the beauty of fall.
If I forget my phone, no matter how far away I am from home, I’ll turn around to retrieve it. I’m not sure I would even consider turning around if I had forgot to put my shoes on.
I propose that we declare a new season. Let’s call it fall. Or maybe autumn.
