Charles Campbell Farris, 90, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2022.

Chuck’s family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church of Blue Springs, 301 S.W. Woods Chapel Rd, Blue Springs, MO.

Chuck was born on August 28, 1931, in East St. Louis, Illinois, to Floyd and Hazel (Jackson) Farris. He married Nora Wendland on November 13, 1951, and together they raised three children. Chuck’s greatest joys in life were his six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Chuck was preceded in death by Nora, his beloved wife of 68 years, as well as his brothers James Farris, William Farris, and Donald Farris, and his sister, Gail Arnold.

He is survived his children, Debbie Williams, Jerri Farris Brummond, and Jeff Farris (Nancy). Also by his grandchildren: Brendan Williams (Liz), Evan Brummond (Kristin), Sarah O’Neal (Josh), Meghan Mountain (Nigel), Heather Lovebird, and Katie Smith (Craig), as well as his eight great-grandchildren, Connor, Tucker and Sawyer Williams, Teagan and Raylan Brummond, Nora Becks, Ruby Goulette, and Grace Smith.

For memorials, the family has designated the Disabled American Veterans (DAV.org).
