Spring is a time of year when it begins to rain.

I’m not talking about water, I’m talking about kittens. Unfortunately, many people don’t alter their pets and then the population of cats explodes. Which leads to the problem of too many cats and not enough homes for them.

Animals Best Friends has a Community Cat Program that places homeless cats in loving homes. ABF also has some wonderful rescue cats of their own that need loving, forever homes. Luna is one of those cats.

Luna is a male cat who is four years young. He is a handsome boy with a long, white coat with tan markings. He is a mellow cat who would do well in a quiet setting. Luna would make a great companion for a single adult or an empty nest couple. His long hair needs to be brushed regularly to prevent tangles and knots. Luna will make a great addition to the right family.

If you are looking for a wonderful cat to join your family and think that Luna might be a good fit, please go to our website at www.animalsbestfriends.org and complete an application. ABF does two week trials and home visits to be sure the animal and family are a good fit.

Animals Best Friends wish list includes: Purina One Puppy and Dog Chow, Purina Kitten and Cat and Chow, cow hooves or rawhides, canned dog and cat food, peanut butter, stuffed toys (no beads), HE laundry detergent, bleach, bleach spray cleaner, Fantastic spray cleaner, newspapers (without slick ads), paper towels, scoopable cat litter. There is a paper recycling bin in the parking lot at ABF Headquarters, 2302 S. Crysler Ave., Independence. Please, no cardboard or telephone books. We appreciate your support.
