The Culture House will present “Jesus Christ Superstar” in the Polsky Theatre, located in the Carlsen Center on the campus of Johnson County Community College, 12345 College Blvd., Overland Park. Performances will be 7 p.m. July 20, 21, 22 and 23, with an additional performance at 2 p.m. July 22.

This timeless work is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally-known series of events but seen, unusually, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. It was the first musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice to be produced for the professional stage and first came to major theaters when it debuted on Broadway in 1971.

This show is recommended for ages 10 and older. Tickets are $17 (plus online/box office fees), and may be purchased at www.culturehouse.com or by calling 913-469-4445.
