Gail Travis Jansen, 68, of Blue Springs, Mo., passed away on October 28, 2022. Gail was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jansen, and first wife and mother of his three children, Harlene.

He is survived by his wife Becky; his son Shawn (Connie) San Antonio, Texas; his son Travis (Robyn) San Antonio, Texas; his daughter Heather Gorsage (Brandon) Freeman, Mo.; his granddaughter Destinee Kelley (Michael) Harrisonville, Mo.; his grandchildren Alicia Mendoza, Xavier Mendoza, and Damian Gorsage Freeman; his father Merle Jansen (Connie) Blue Springs, Mo.; his sister Penny McGinnis (David) Blue Springs; his sister Anita Seever (Jeff) Grain Valley, Mo.; and many great-grandchildren. Gail’s passing is a huge impact on his family and friends, and he will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
