Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. celebrates with teammates in the dugout after scoring the go-ahead run on Hunter Renfroe's single to right field in the bottom of the eighth inning of Sunday's game against the Chicago White Sox at Kauffman Stadium. Witt's run made it 2-1 and the Royals went on to a 4-1 victory. Witt was 3-for-4 in the game and finished the series 9-for-11 in the series. Starter Seth Lugo pitched the first complete game of his career, allowing just three hits, no walks and one run while striking out six as the Royals improved to 55-45 and moved into position again for an American League wild card playoff spot.
