In lieu of cutting a ribbon, a Fort Osage students sawed a board Wednesday to mark the opening of the Fort Connect education space at NorthPoint Development's Eastgate Commerce Center. The space is in one of first two of several industrial and commercial buildings NorthPoint plans to construct in the Little Blue Valley, and the ceremony preceded City Manager Zach Walkerâs state of the city address during a Chamber of Commerce luncheon.
