ST. LOUIS – Julia (Julie) C. McGinnis, 69, passed peacefully on November 19, 2021 at her home in St. Louis, MO.

She is preceded in death by her parents Zehner & Judy Hoffman of Independence, MO. She is survived by her stepdaughter, Crystal McGinnis; two grandchildren, Amiah and Madison of Grain Valley; siblings, Susan Blankenship of the home, Ellen Kuhn of Blue Springs, Zehner (Buck) Hoffman of Charlotte, NC, Sara Albert of Blue Springs, Rose Whitsitt of Independence and Aimee Worley of Sugar Creek and many, many neices and nephews.

Julie attended Van Horn High School and received her nursing degree from the University of Georgia. She was employed by Independence Regional Hospital before joining Midwest Nephrology Consultants where she retired from in 2019. Services will be held on Sunday, December 19,

Services will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel, 11924 E. 47th St., Kansas City, MO 64133. Visitation at 1:00pm and Celebration of Life beginning at 2:30pm.
