• The wiping cloths were not stored in a solution that was registering on the test strips. The solution was dumped and replaced. Corrected on sites.

Timothy Lutheran Ministries, 301 S.W. Wyatt Road, inspected Jan. 22.


• Unable to obtain food handler permits for all of the employees who work in the kitchen. Correct by Feb. 21.

John Nowlin Elementary School, 5020 N.W. Valley View Road, inspected Jan. 22.


• The blade for the can opener had an accumulation of debris and residue. Corrected on site.


Brittany Hill Middle School, 2701 N.W. 1st St., inspected Jan. 23.


• A couple of cans had sharp dents on the side. The kitchen manager disposed of the cans. Corrected on site.


Wingstop, 481 N.E. Coronado, inspected Jan. 23.


• The spray hose to the three-compartment sink was below the flood rim. Corrected on site. Manager was able to use a wire to hold up the hose one inch above the flood rim.


• The ceiling vents above the reach-in cooler in the grill area had an accumulation of dust.


• The ice scoop holder had an accumulation of black particles floating in the bottom. Corrected. Manager emptied out the water and the floating particles and cleaned and sanitized the ice scoop holder.


• Failure to provide valid food handler cards for several employees.

• The fan inside the walk-in cooler in the kitchen has an accumulation of dust build up.


• A container of raw fish was uncovered in the walk-in cooler in the kitchen department.


Bob Evans Farms, 1117 N. Missouri 7, inspected Feb. 3.


• The mechanical dishwasher was unable to reach a surface temperature of 160 degrees F after 3 attempts. A re-inspection is required on Jan. 27.


• The underside of the wire racks in the walk-in cooler had an accumulation of debris and residue. Corrected on site. Repeat violation.


• A nozzle for the orange juice had a heavy accumulation of residue. The G.M. washed, rinsed, and sanitized the nozzle. Corrected on site.


• There was a sticky spill in the dry storage room. The spill was cleaned with a mop. Corrected on site.


• There was trash and debris on the floor in the chemical storage room. Corrected on site.


• A heavy accumulation of food debris was observed under the grill. Corrected on site.
