Mavericks collapse after strong start, fall behind 2-1 in ECHL Kelly Cup Finals

Hartnett and Ray, who are teammates on a local youth hockey club, had plenty to cheer about as the Mavericks held a 3-1 lead after one period of their Kelly Cup Championship series against Florida, but the Everblades held the Mavericks to just seven shots on goal over the second and third periods to claim a 6-3 victory and take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.
