Melissa Smith, 54, of Independence, Mo., passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Blue Springs, Mo.

Visitation will be from 10 – 11 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday following the visitation at the chapel with burial at Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence.
