Michael Dee Ferris, 74, Oak Grove, died January 26, 2022, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Born December 13, 1947, in Huntington, West Virginia, he was the son of Hiram M. and Madeline V. Ferris, both preceded him in death. After graduating from Barboursville High School in 1965, Michael attended Marshall University for 2 years, and then joined the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Dolores G Ferris; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Greg Joy; daughter and son-in-law, Constance and Robert Azcona; daughter and son-in-law, Shelley and Howard Watson; son and daughter-in-law, Wade and Jessica Ferris; sister and brother-in-law, Karen Sue Ferris and John Askew; 18 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
