WHAT THE PLAY IS ABOUT: Maddie, the editor of Wings Publishing Company discovers her boss has met an untimely death just before the contract-signing party that would save the business. Her receptionist Tyrolia reacts by trying to find a new job, script writer Kitty keeps trying to hide the body and sister Doris just has an urge for doughnuts. They just have to keep the murder under wraps until notorious playwright Lionel Upshaw signs a contract bringing about the big bank loan.

Throw in a reporter who arranged for a television crew to cover the festivities, a hack writer who unwittingly helps hide evidence, a janitor who carries a gun, an actress turned caterer whose crab puffs keep crawling off and the arrival of the late boss' fiancé, and laughs abound (taken from www.dramaticpublishing.com).
