Chair Yoga: For adults, 7 p.m. Jan. 17 and 31. If you have always wanted to try yoga but have trouble getting up and down off the floor, this three-week class is for you. Get comfortable with yoga by learning basic poses, simple breathing exercises, slow-paced stretching, and easy relaxation techniques. All levels welcome. Wear comfortable clothing.
Business Basics – Finding More Customers Like Your Best Clients: For adults, 10 a.m. Jan. 20. Discover how to find more potential customers by using free online databases. Learn the basics of navigating these helpful resources to create a list of consumer or business prospects that can grow your business. This program is funded by a grant from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.
Outsmart the Scammers: For adults, 2 p.m. Jan. 22. Discover the latest ways phone scammers are trying to get your money and how to avoid falling for their tricks.
Teen Anime: 6:30 p.m. Jan. 23. Join fellow fanatics for fun!
Professor I Drop, the Juggling Scientist: For ages 8 and older, 10 a.m. Jan. 27. Jay Cady combines his love of science with circus skills in this interactive workshop. Topics include famous scientists, potential energy, density, and chart making. The big finale is the “Four Box Mystery.”
