Storytime for Preschoolers: 10 a.m. Wednesdays. Visit the Library for an exciting and unique storytime journey. We'll explore the first steps toward reading readiness for you and your preschooler. Designed for preschoolers between 3 and 5 years old and their caregivers.
Internet Safety: For adults, 6:30 p.m. March 1. Protect yourself while surfing the web by learning a few of the more typical dangers found online and how to proactively keep you and your information safe.
STEAM-Powered Program – Mad Science Codes with Cubelets: For ages 7 and older, 11 a.m. March 3. Cubelets is a perfect platform to create your own robots. Mad Science will introduce a visual programming tool to give you full control over your Cubelets. Create countless new robots and behaviors with the power of code.
Book Group: For adults, 6:30 p.m. March 5. Come meet like-minded people, enjoy lively discussion, learn which books inspire others, and talk about your favorite books.
The Sandwich Generation – Caring for Aging Parents: 6:30 p.m. March 22. Many young to middle-aged adults are finding they’ve joined the “Sandwich Generation,” adults still raising their own children while assisting in caring for their aging parents. Learn how to identify when intervention is needed, how to tap into support resources, as well as tips on how to care for yourself while caring for others.
Read and Draw – Eric Carle’s The Grouchy Ladybug: For ages 4 and older, 11 a.m. March 24. Preschool children will enjoy exploring the world of Eric Carle through the joy of drawing in this one-hour storytime art experience. We’ll start by reading Carle’s The Grouchy Ladybug and then we will learn to draw our very own ladybug. All materials provided.
Explore Essential Oils: For adults, 6:30 p.m. March 26. Learn about essential oils, including how to use them safely and how to incorporate them into your daily life. Participants will receive a sample to enjoy.
