Independence Police are attempting to identify a pair of suspects, one from a robbery investigation and the other in a fraud investigation.

• The robbery happened at 6:44 p.m., April 24 at the Subway at 11201 E. U.S. 24 in Independence, and the suspect, described as a white man about 6-foot-2 or 6-3, with a thin build, blue eyes, sunken cheeks, short blond/red hair and stubbly facial hair, wearing a Hardee's/Carl's Jr. cap and a dark, long-sleeved shirt.

The suspect threatened the clerk with a gun but did not produce one, and he left with cash.

• The fraud suspect, pictured with a wide-brimmed hat, leather jacket and jeans, made two fraudulent transactions using ATM cards at two banks along U.S. 24 in Independence.
