Beta Sigma Phi chapter, Xi Xi Sigma, has named Kim Rick of Independence Woman of the Year for 2018-2019

Kim served this past year as Vice President, City Council representative, Social chairman and chairman of the Calling Committee.

As Social chair, Kim scheduled all of the chapters activities and as chairman of the Calling Committee, she kept everyone informed of dates, times and changes of anything pertaining to the chapter. As Vice President, she was also in charge of membership, transfers, progressions and visitor.

Kim is employed by the Social Security Administration and has been a member of Beta Sigma Phi since 2000, and has spent the last 3 years in Xi Xi Sigma. She has held numerous offices and chairmanships.

Kim has one son, Jacob Brunk, who is her biggest supporter and with whom she likes to attend concerts. In addition to concerts, Kim enjoys Royals games, plays, music, trying new restaurants and spending time with her friends.

Kim’s award was announced at Founder’s Day in April at the Hilton Garden Inn. Her chapter awarded her at a specially planned meeting where she was presented her trophy, dinner and a gift.
