WHERE: Van Horn High School PAC, 1109 S. Arlington Ave., Independence.

WHEN: 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

HOW MUCH: Tickets are $7 in advance (purchase at the high school or contact jamie_yung@isdschools.org) and $8 at the door. Students and senior citizens are $5.

WHAT'S THE SHOW ABOUT: At a large, tastefully appointed Palisades townhouse, the deputy mayor of New York has just shot himself. It’s only a flesh wound, but four couples are about to experience a severe farce attack. Gathering for a celebration of the deputy mayor and his wife’s 10th wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in the other room, his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken, and Ken’s wife, Chris, must get the story straight before other guests arrive. As the confusions and miscommunications mount, and the police arrive later, the evening spins off into farcical hilarity (from samuelfrench.com).
