Who was your most inspirational teacher and why?

Debbie Cox pushed me to get more involved, gain leadership experience, take on an active role in my community and taught me how to be a great student.

What college are you attending and why did you pick that school?

I plan to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia to major in pre-med. I chose to attend this school for its academics in my field of interest as well as receiving a full-ride scholarship.

What are your plans after college?

I plan to attend medical school, specializing in pediatrics.

Who was your most inspirational teacher and why?

Over my four years I have had many great teachers, but the one I would say was the most inspirational was Mr. (Brian) Gant. We built such a good relationship, not only in the classroom but on the baseball field as well.

What college are you attending and why did you pick that school?

I plan to attend Wichita State University because it has a great aerospace engineering program. I also fell in love with the campus and community.

What are your plans after college?

After college, I plan to go right into the workforce with my bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering. Wichita State has such a great program, and it has several engineering firms not only in the community, but on the campus itself.

Who was your most inspirational teacher and why?

Ms. (Hilary) Tramel inspires us to be active leaders in what we believe in. She also makes sure students understand the lesson she is teaching, even if that means teaching it 100 different ways.

What college are you attending and why did you pick that school?

I am attending Kansas City Kansas Community College because they have a great music program. I was fortunate enough to be accepted upon auditioning for the program.

What are your plans after college?

I plan to pursue my degree and change the world.

Major Extracurricular Activities: Varsity cross country (three-time state qualifier), basketball and soccer.

Who was your most inspirational teacher and why?

Mrs. (Hilary) Tramel because she is patient and understanding. She helped me through my ACL recoveries, she is an advocate for social justice and she teaches students to use their voice. She is so much more than just a teacher.

What college are you attending and why did you pick that school?

I am attending the University of Central Missouri to play soccer. I loved the campus and the school’s proximity to home. It is a great school to get my undergraduate degree, and it has a great soccer program (2017 National Champions).

What are your plans after college?

I plan to attend medical school to become an orthopedic doctor or surgeon.
