‘Stand for Justice’ is focus at Stone Church

The theme for the service at Stone Church this Sunday is “Stand for Justice.”

The speaker is Jim Hannah and the presider is Sharon Hannah. Music will be provided by John Davies and Paulette V. Resch.

Eastgate Christian offers Ladies’ Day Out event

Eastgate Christan Church, 4010 S. River Blvd., Independence, will host a “Ladies’ Day Out” sale from 10 a.m., to 3 p.m. Nov. 2.

Vendors will present women’s clothing (sizes XS to 3X), children’s clothing, and accessories, including lingerie, nail products, skin care, jewelry, Scentsy, CBD oil, and Avon products. Snacks, hot dogs and soft drinks will also be available for sale.

Gideons International sets evangelism training

Gideons international presents an evangelism and witnessing training at 7 p.m., Oct. 22, at Country Meadows Baptist Church, 4901 Lee’s Summit Road, Kansas City.

The training will focus on personal witnessing. William Fay, evangelist and author of “Share Jesus Without Fear,” will present the program. This event is a part of the “Take Back Our City For Christ” initiative.
