Have you ever thought about adopting an adult dog?

Some people believe that adult rescue dogs have a lot of issues that make them a lot of work. Some dogs may have issues, but those dogs do need a special family to love them and give them time to adjust.

However, all adult rescue dogs do not have issues. Some are just sad and lonesome. They want a family/pack of their own. They likely don’t understand why they have to live alone in a room or kennel. Some know nothing outside of this environment. That alone is tragic.

Sport is one of these lonesome dogs. He is 8 years old and although he has gray on his face, he has a lot of energy to play and enjoy life. Sport loves to go on long walks and play with his toys. In the summer he loves to play in water.

Sport will make a great companion for an adult or a family with older children. He has a sweet disposition and is a loving boy.

If you are compassionate enough to adopt an adult dog and would like to meet Sport and possibly adopt or foster him, please go to our website, www.animalsbestfriends.org, and complete an application. Animals Best Friends does vet checks, home visits and two-week trials to be sure the animal and family are a good fit.

ABF appreciates all the support they receive from the community. We would also like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!
