Free Tax Help for Seniors: 9 a.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays. AARP Tax-Aides will be at the library to assist seniors with moderate to low incomes with tax questions and tax return preparation. Please contact branch for registration.

That’s Craftastic: 6:30 p.m., Feb. 24. Each time, we will create a different project. Registration is required.

The Sandwich Generation: Caring for Aging Parents: 6:30 p.m., Feb. 18. The “Sandwich Generation” is raising children while caring for aging parents. Learn how to recognize when you need help, how to access resources, and how to care for yourself while caring for others.

Warm from the Oven: 2 p.m., Feb. 15. Create made-from-scratch cinnamon rolls in this step-by-step class that will take you from making the dough to creating icing from scratch. Participants will take home a pan of rolls to bake.

Winter Birding 101: 2 p.m., Feb. 1. Discover which birds make Missouri their winter home, learn how to identify them, and create a feeder for birds to enjoy.

Kid Lit: 4:30 p.m., Feb. 19. Explore history, theater, literature and more. Ages 6 and up.

Kindergarten Readiness Storytime Series: 10 a.m. Tuesdays. Our storytime experts will demonstrate the ways you can use picture books, music, fingerplays, and movement activities to grow your child’s love of reading and fully prepare them for success in kindergarten. Ages 3 and up.

Play and Learn Time: 10 a.m., Feb. 14 and 28. Designed to stimulate young minds and strengthen early literacy skills. Ages 3 and up. No registration required.

Storytime for Families: 6:30 p.m., Feb. 6 and 20. Hear stories and sing songs. Bring the whole family, and make some great memories. Designed for families of all ages.

Storytime for Preschoolers: 10 a.m. Wednesdays. Explore the first steps toward reading readiness for you and your preschooler. Designed for preschoolers between 3 and 5 years old and their caregivers. Registration is required.

Storytime for Toddlers: 10 a.m. Mondays and Thursdays except Feb. 17. Parents and caregivers will enjoy a fun and interactive environment with their toddlers that will engage and encourage those next steps into early literacy. Designed for toddlers between 18 and 36 months old and one-on-one caregivers. Program may require parental participation. Registration is required.

Stuffed Animal Sleepover: Dropoff is at 10 a.m. Feb. 22; event is 2 p.m. Feb. 23. The library’s stuffed animals invite your stuffed friends to a sleepover at their house. Drop off your friend at the library the day before. Then come back for a special program featuring a slideshow of their overnight adventures. Dolls and other toys are also welcome. Teen Yoga: 7 p.m. Feb. 24. Learn the basic yoga poses in a fun, nonjudgmental environment. No experience necessary, just a willingness to laugh and try something new. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a towel or mat. Registration is required.
