In this time of uncertainty and quarantine there are some things that you can do while you’re staying at home. One thing is adopting or fostering a homeless animal. When one is at home with new animals it helps them adjust to living in a household. For instance, frequently taking new puppies outside helps them to learn where they are supposed to potty.

Animals Best Friends has two adorable four-month-old terrier puppies that are looking for good homes. I know a bit about these puppies since I am in the process of adopting their sister.

Ella is very playful but a bit timid. She may need to build her confidence once in a new home. Her sister Emmy is more assertive. Both girls are very sweet and intelligent. Both get along well with other dogs and should be okay with cats. Once in a home they should be fairly easy to train and eager to learn.

Ella and Emmy should grow to be medium-size dogs weighing no more than 30 pounds. They are thought to possibly be part heeler as well as terrier. Both are up to date on all vaccinations, flea prevention, and heartworm preventative.

If you are looking to brighten up your family by adopting or fostering a puppy and think Ella or Emmy might be a good fit, please go to our website and complete an application. ABF does two-week trials, home visits, and vet checks to be sure the family and animal are a good fit.
