The Mid-Continent Public Library System has closed all library buildings due to the COVID-19 emergency. However, virtual events are still available. To access these virtual events, take these steps:

• Go to

• Scroll down to “Stay Connected with MCPL’s Virtual Events”

• Then click on “Learn More.” At that point you can browse through the various events and can click on the ones that interest you.

Note: You will generally need to be online at the time listed for the event you are interested in. Some events will allow you to make comments and ask questions whereas other events will not support that sort of interaction. If you have questions regarding these virtual events, you can visit and scroll down to the “Contact Us” section to find phone numbers or other ways to ask questions.

The virtual events this week include:

• Early Literacy Storytime or Activity: 10 a.m.

• Early Literacy Storytime or Activity: 10 a.m. today through Friday.

• Stories for the Family with Storyteller Priscilla Howe: 3 p.m. Friday.

• Tech Class, Microsoft Excel, 1 p.m. today.
