The Missouri Department of Mental Health is operating phone and text helplines to support people who are anxious or depressed about the COVID-19 situation.
These lines have free, confidential, multilingual programs staffed by trained and caring professionals. For help with COVID-19 stress and anxiety, call 1-800-985-5990 or text “TalkWithUs” to 66746.
In addition to these helplines, the Access Crisis Intervention system, which is provided through Comprehensive Mental Health Services, continues to offer confidential mental health information and services to anyone experiencing any emotional or behavioral crisis at 1-888-279-8188. These services are free to anyone in the Jackson County area.
