Who was your most inspirational teacher and why?
My most inspirational teacher was certainly Mr. (Michael) Palermo, because he brought a "motivated joy" everywhere and was able to connect with every one of his students in an extremely personable way. Additionally, he was my soccer coach for four years and taught me how to persevere through the most difficult times on and off the field. Palermo always found a way to inspire me to work harder and led me to adopting a very positive outlook on every aspect of life.
What college are you attending, and why did you pick that school?
I am likely attending Truman State University because it will give me a great education to get a degree in mathematics and will hopefully allow me to continue my athletic career.
What are your plans after college?
I plan to pursue a career in the field of sports statistics because I have always had a passion for baseball and math, so I hope to combine these loves of mine and dream of working in the front office of a professional sports team.
