Women need to remember Ford when they vote in November

Please know that there are men who are falsely accused of sexual misconduct, assault, rape, etc. It can ruin a man’s life or take it.

For heaven’s sake, Emmett Till was brutally murdered at the hands of a racist mob for supposedly whistling at a white woman. She has since recanted her story, some 60 years later. This has happened in our family and the hurt and damage are damning even after the accuser was kicked out of school for lying.

That said, it is still fact that women suffer far more sexual assaults than men. And in the case of Brett Kavanaugh a great injustice has been done, not only to Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, but every woman in America. We were sacrificed for the pitiful agenda of the Republican Party. Ladies, I beg you to please remember this when you go to the polls on Nov. 6.

McCaskill will pay for her Kavanaugh vote in November’s election

I sent the following message to Senator McCaskill on Friday, Oct. 5, 2018. On Oct. 6, she did not break with her party by voting no. Maybe a yes for confirmation could have been a small step to heal the nation and move congress away from acrimony toward civility:

Dear Senator McCaskill,

Your confirmation vote to sustain Justice Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court, in my opinion, will be directly related to your re-election.

Voting for confirmation will help you.

Voting against will lead to your defeat.

You can’t hide behind unsustained and unreasonable positions.

You should listen to your constituents who understood the last minute ambush for what it was – a dirty trick. The FBI has exonerated him.

Now, be a moderate by voting for (it is OK to change your mind). Be the person you say you are by moving congress toward civility.

Voting is the only way We can change our government

I believe this is the year for the voters to clear out the stinking cesspool and get fresher air flowing through the U.S. Congress, state and local governments.

The answer is simple – just vote. This is how the voter gets things changed – vote your choice. This is an important freedom we have, so I urge you to exercise your rights.

Only the Lord can make for a ‘climate change’

I will embellish a couple of words I saw the other day! But first I would say that it was probably the right thing to do, and save a lot of money when President Trump pulled out of the climate change as he did!

Now the facts! When the people turn from their wicked ways and hear from heaven, then there will be a “climate change” for the people. Or in other words, the Lord will heal the land. So be it!
