Patsy (Pat) Sue Ingle of Independence, Mo. passed away at Benton House, Staley Hills surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at the age of 84.
Patsy grew up in Windyville, Mo. After graduation, she moved to Kansas City with her sister and began her career at Hallmark Cards. She retired from Felco. She met and married Jimmy Ingle, together they had three children. She was a loving wife, mother, grand- and great-grandmother, wonderful cook and friend to so many.
She was happily married for 49 years before Jimmy passed. She was a faithful member of Pebble Creek Assembly. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved to shop and was always on the hunt for the next bargain. She was quite the prankster in her younger days and loved to laugh.
She is survived by her children, Kelly Abernathy; Kevin (Terri) Ingle of Clinton, Mo.; Mark (Lorie) Ingle of Olathe, Kan.; grandchildren – Kristen Abernathy (Jaylon, Jordon and Addi), Chad and Virginia Abernathy of Washington, D.C.; Nick and Laura Ingle (Avery and Audrey); Nathan and Sydney Ingle; Kyle and Danielle Ingle (Elizabeth and David); Marissa and Josh Carroll (Xavier, Jade and Skye). She also left beloved nieces and nephews and their children; her companion, Duane Jenkins; brother – Lyndol Sturdevant and his wife Pam of Windyville; sister – Virginia Keith of Independence. She was preceded in death by her parents Everett and Wilna Sturdevant, her husband Jimmy Ingle, her brother-in-law Gene Keith.
Pat’s love and devotion to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ gave her purpose and strength throughout her life. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to Pebble Creek Assembly of God, Independence, are preferred. Services are pending and will be in the spring of 2023 at Lone Rock Cemetery, Windyville.
