Phillip Mayfield passed away on February 26th in Independence, Missouri. He was born on September 17, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri to Walter Mayfield and Mary Mayfield and grew up in Independence, Missouri.

Phillip was a veteran of the United States Navy. He loved gardening and was a fan of the Chiefs and Royals. Travis Kelce was his favorite Chiefs player. Phillip was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, nature and the Lake of the Ozarks.

Phillip was preceded in death by his father Walter Mayfield, Sr. His survivors include his mother Mary Mayfield of Independence, brothers Walter, Mark, John & Clifford, sisters Kathy & Lisa, along with four nieces and four nephews and many cousins and friends.
